My Most Favorite Time of the Year

Christmas IS my most favorite time of year. It's a time to pull out all my most favorite things. The joy that these decorations give and the memories that it brings to mind, gives my heart that warm fuzzy feeling that makes you feel good all over. I used to wait until after Thanksgiving to bring all my stuff out, but each year it seems to get earlier and earlier.

I have MY Christmas tree that I decorate, so I give each of the kids a tree in their room to decorate. They love it! Andrew told me, as he was decorating his and Aaron's tree that he wanted his tree full like mine -" where you can't see any green." Appearantly, it's in the genes.

My absolute favorite thing about my tree is that it spins. Each year, I couldn't decide which ornaments to place in the front where I could see them. Now, I don't have to decide - as it spins - I CAN SEE THEM ALL. Oh, and I got the tree at Hobby Lobby for 80% off. I love a good deal... In fact, I usually don't buy it unless it IS a good deal.

I can't complete this post without telling how thankful that I am to the Lord Jesus Christ for giving me all these wonderful blessings to enjoy, for giving me a wonderful family to enjoy it with and for sending His Son to die on the cross for my sin. I can enjoy it to the fullest, because I have the SECURITY of a home in Heaven when I die. If you haven't accepted Christ as your Saviour, I would love to show you how. It would be the greatest gift that you could receive this year.

This doll is 2 feet tall when standing up. I love having large objects in my tree, it fills it up and gives variety.

A stocking I found at GW Boutique (Goodwill)

A snowman ornament that I made. Each year, I try to make a new ornament. As I put up my ornaments each year, I think back to the memories or making it with friends and family.
A santa hat that i found at GWB that i tea dyed.

I didn't have glass for this beautiful frame, but I wanted it displayed, so i put this beautiful berry wreath in the middle of it and instantly fell in love.
